Fuel Cap Area Drain Kit for E39 BMW 5 Series (1996-2003) - 3D Printable Files

These are the 3D Printable Files for our Fuel Cap Area Drain Kit, allowing you to construct our kit yourself and avoid paying international shipping. There are only two 3D Printed components in this kit, both printed from Hard TPU (68D):

• 1x Inlet Fitting
• 1x Body Grommet

The other two components required can be bought online or at a hardware store:

• 50cm PVC tubing (7mm outer diameter)
• Rubber Grommet (6.3mm inner diameter, ~10mm panel hole diameter - this is a commonly available size)

We also include an alcohol wipe in our kit to prep the surface around the drilled hole for sealant application, but any rubbing alcohol / isopropyl alcohol will do the job. To complete the installation you'll also need the items below:

• 10mm and 11mm drill bit (we also recommend a smaller drill bit for a pilot hole)
• 8mm and 10mm sockets
• RTV / silicone sealant
• Small needlenose pliers
• Vehicle jack
• Trim Clip Removal Tool

Recommended additional items:

• Electrical tape (we tape the Drain Tubing to the Inlet Fitting for a little added security)
• Touch-up paint
• Scissors / flush cutters
• Small metal file
• Axle stand to support vehicle jack
