D3D has developed this Replacement Dashboard Cubby Lid Panel for the infamous dashboard cubby found in the first generation Subaru Forester models between 1997 and 2002. It’s shaped to increase the volume of the cubby, creating more storage space, and comes with the required hardware for installation. Designed for the SF Forester, but also fits 1997-2000 GC8 Impreza models with the same dashboard cubby.

The factory lid often forms cracks over time due to sun exposure. It can be difficult and very expensive ($300+) to source a replacement in good condition, which is why we’ve made this replacement available as a much cheaper solution. Designed in-house, you can have confidence in correct fitment. We make them from carbon-fibre reinforced Polycarbonate with a colour and surface finish that blends in very well with the surrounding dashboard. This part also includes a mini bit wrench to assist with installation, as it is a tight space to work in. We offer it in a painted finish ready for installation, as well as a raw finish for those wanting to paint the unit themselves (a textured trim/bumper paint is best).

Please note: For best results, we recommend painting the exterior side of this product. The raw material already has good UV resistance, but painting improves it and creates a more even surface finish. Painting also seals the carbon fibres in the material to make cleaning easier. Colours shown on screen may differ slightly to their appearance in person.
