D3D is proud to present the new V3 Double DIN Head Unit Nav Pod for the SG Forester, designed and made in-house. Many know of the elusive Nav Pod that was originally available for the SG Forester in the Japanese market, which allowed a touchscreen head unit to be mounted at the top of the dashboard for easier and safer use. Due to its rarity, this part is now difficult to source and usually too expensive to justify, even when in poor condition.

We have created our own design for those who want to mount their head unit in the JDM location without having to dig around used eBay listings. Mounting your head unit in this raised location reduces distraction by making the screen easy to see at a glance, allowing you to direct more focus on the road ahead. Our kit comes with everything you need, and includes the following:

• Head Unit Pod Shell
• Head Unit Brackets (left and right)
• Front Filler Trim Piece
• All required screws for installation
• NEW - Front USB ports for head units with rear USB connectivity (optional)
• Built-in microphone with 2.5mm and 3.5mm jack compatibility (optional)
• 60cm Antenna Extension Wire

Please note - you may need to extend the wiring to the head unit depending on your setup/brand. If you have a typical wiring loom adapter fitted (e.g. Aerpro APP090) with the wiring loom included with your head unit, this will usually reach without extension. This kit doesn't come with the double DIN head unit pictured. We recommend going with a reputable brand as many of the cheap no-name units out there don't use the standard screw hole arrangement. Please see the last product image for the maximum head unit depths that will work with our kit (depth is measured from the face of the Nav Pod, not from the face of the head unit itself.
