If you own an E39, chances are your cupholder is either broken or you don’t like it very much. The factory cupholder doesn’t give much confidence due to its thin and flimsy design, and it tends to grip regular cans more tightly than usual, which causes it to flex when removing them and is one of the reasons it’s prone to breaking.
D3D decided to create a direct-fit insert to improve the cupholder setup in the BMW E39. Our design fits snug in place without any adhesives, which makes it removable if needed. It can also be separated easily for cleaning, and comes in two versions - a Double Holder for those who still need access to the cigarette lighter, and a Triple Holder for maximum utility. The Triple Holder has a third oversized cavity that will be able to accomodate some oversized cans and bottles, but we've given it a squarer shape to make it more useful as a general storage tray as well. Both versions feature spring-loaded plastic teeth that hold the unit in place without the use of adhesives.
Our Proper Cupholder Insert is designed and made in Australia and is contructed from TPU, a common rubberised polymer used in the auto industry, which reduces vibration and is heat resistant. It can be ordered for both RHD and LHD vehicles.

The original owners of my car had destroyed the cupholders and installing new ones is time consuming and even then they are quite delicate. I love that these ones, I can just slap a can of drink straight in and not worry about it! Thanks guys
Thanks Adrian! 🙏
